Why You Should Join CalPrevents

We are here to learn from each other to support child, family, and community well-being across the state of California.

CalPrevents gives you the opportunity to connect with your peers across the state who often face similar challenges and situations. Members share their questions and concerns as well as their insights and best practicesOn CalPrevents, you can share and access documents and video recordings as well participate in livestreamed events, a conversation board, and private messaging. Members can customize notifications on their accounts to stay up to date on activities and discussions that are taking place on the platform.

CalPrevents focuses on strategies that specifically support agencies to eliminate the disproportional representation of any demographic group in the child welfare, juvenile justice, or mental health systems, and to provide equity for underrepresented and marginalized communities. These strategies support improved safety and well-being for all children and families in California.

CalPrevents is hosted on a platform called Mighty Networks that is fully compliant with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA).
